Real Estate, Minor

Chairperson: Bin Wang, Ph.D.

This minor is not available to students in the College of Business Administration.

The real estate minor provides students with a strong foundation in commercial real estate, including evaluating property cash flows and values, understanding space and asset markets, and examining how projects are financed through debt and equity. Students also explore the legal and ethical dimensions of real estate transactions and development decisions. Through interdisciplinary and applied learning experiences, they engage with real-world issues involving housing, community development, and the built environment. Coursework builds analytical competence alongside leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills, preparing students to navigate and influence the real estate sector from a variety of professional and civic perspectives.
