Interdisciplinary Major in International Affairs
The minor offers an interdisciplinary study of international affairs. Students take core courses in international politics and economics and additional courses in history.
Students gain a solid base of knowledge regarding international affairs and the ability to integrate the diverse perspectives of several disciplines to recognize subtle understandings of complex problems. International Affairs Minor
The minor in International Affairs consists of six courses (18 cr. hrs.). The minor requires demonstrated intermediate-level competency in a foreign language. Students are encouraged to minor in a foreign language, taking at least two courses above the intermediate level.
NOTE:
- Demonstration of intermediate-level foreign language proficiency through coursework completed at Marquette involves the completion of a 2002 or 2003 course offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
