Program Description

The Department of Psychology offers courses and training leading to the master of science (M.S.) in applied psychology data analytics. The applied psychology data analytics program trains graduates to combine psychological expertise and quantitative skills. Students receive training to integrate big data with psychological principles and methods to produce a unique skillset to address the most complex of life’s challenges. Training includes course work and practical experiences utilizing data. Graduates will have a unique skillset that gives them the ability to uncover valuable insights from complex human behavior data that are needed to make informed decisions in various fields including health care, education, insurance, business, industry, government, the military, and a range of community settings.

Multicultural Awareness and Professional Integration Program (MAPIP)

The MAPIP program is specialized training available to graduate students in the Department of Psychology. It is intended to assist students in gaining additional knowledge of multicultural issues. This includes increased awareness of the multicultural psychology research, increased understanding of diverse groups and cultures, and self-reflection of how diversity awareness can be integrated into their professional careers.
