Throughout the fellowship, participants will benefit from mentorship and guidance from experienced, board-certified pathology and radiology faculty members, along with specialists in oral medicine, orofacial pain, and digital dentistry, fostering both professional and personal growth. The 31-credit curriculum is built around shadowing, active learning and simulations, clinical experiences, and case exercises. The fellowship will hone the applicant’s diagnostic and research skills through exposure, immersion, and practice, with the ultimate goal of achieving working competency in these areas. The candidate will be expected to join during the summer semester for initial clinical training, orientation, and concept building. The fall courses will introduce advanced diagnostic concepts and research methods. Upon completion, participants will be awarded a certificate from the Graduate School at Marquette University recognizing their advanced competency in oral and maxillofacial radiology.
