The medical genetics minor is designed to foster the learning and application of foundational and advanced concepts in medical genetics, genomics, epigenetics and their clinical applications while promoting ethical engagement in this rapidly advancing discipline. The minor enhances students' preparation for careers and further study in genetics-related fields such as genomics, genetic counseling and precision medicine.
