The English as a Second Language minor allows students to deepen their knowledge of teaching English Language Learners. Second language fluency is not a requirement. The ESL minor is available for all Education majors and students in other colleges who are interested in obtaining the knowledge and skills for working with and understanding people who speak English as a second (or third) language. NOTE: this program is not currently approved for Wisconsin DPI teacher licensure.
