Dental School Graduation Policy

Graduation is based on the recommendation of the faculty and concurrence of the dean of MUSoD. A candidate for the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Successful completion of all of the prescribed courses of study.
2. Cumulative grade point average of 2.000 or above.
3. No outstanding grades of F, I, IC, IR, NG, U or WF.
4. Demonstration of competency in all areas listed in the Dental Competencies section.
5. Retirement of all debts and obligations to Marquette University.
6. Clearing of non-academic requirements through the Office of Clinical Services.
